Sometimes when I check my author page at Amazon.com I find that one of my paperbacks, generally an older one, is listed as being for sale for a surprisingly high price, by a seller I have never heard of. It puzzled me for a while, but then I figured out that people do it to make a large profit. For example, one of the books about llamas and their care that I wrote many years ago is out of print as far as my publishing company is concerned. But someone has it listed for close to a hundred dollars. Huh? Well, in this online world all sorts of things go on. Just keep your eyes open!
As for my llama books, I have plans to bring out a new llama book in my memoirs series. It won’t be a how-to as such, but will tell some of the stories of those happy years, edited from my old books and with photos added. But first I have to finish the third one in the series, the one about about being a LSD research subject, and then I think the next two will be about life with my father, the science fiction writer Cordwainer Smith, and then a love story. None of these will sell for a fortune!
